The psalmist declared that God's word was a "Lamp to my feet and a light to my path." - Psalm 119:105

When Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness he spoke one of the most profound statements of the importance of God's Word to sustain us in a way more substantial, powerful, and lasting than bread alone (Matthew 4:4).

Paul reminded Timothy that God's Word is inspired, powerful and useful for many things to help us be fully equipped to do good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The study of the Word of God should characterize all of God's children as we hunger and thirst after righteousness and after a relationship with him.
