Worship at Northwest

Our worship provides a time where God is uplifted and fellow Christians are encouraged and launched into another week. This is done in the following ways:

Singing - We encourage everyone to come and sing praise to God on a weekly basis. All our singing is done without any instrumental accompaniment. Some songs we sing in praise of God and others we sing to build each other up. Feel free to come and sing from the heart!

Prayer - Our worship is God-centered. One of the biggest ways we focus on God is through prayer by offering up requests and thanksgivings to Him.

Lord's Supper - Each week we remember the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ through taking the Lord's Supper. We have a time of remembering Jesus and what he did on the cross and prayers for the bread and the cup.

Preaching - Our preaching minister Jim Shannon delivers a message from the Bible each Sunday morning that helps us apply the Bible to our everyday lives.

Keith Lancaster Worship Workshop Follow Up

We are thankful to Keith Lancaster for his Praise and Harmony Worship Workshop that was held at Northwest in February. We are taking follow up steps to ensure that our worship is uplifting, energetic, and dynamic. We will continue to learn and integrate new songs into our worship service, while still singing many of our traditional songs.

For information on booking one of Keith's workshops see this link.
